Our programme is free for children aged 4–16 who live in Southwark or attend a Southwark school and receive benefits related Free School Meals (FSM). This is part of the Southwark Food & Fun (HAF) programme.
All bookings must be made through EEQU. Once you select your dates, our team will review your booking and approve it within 24 hours.
We run a minimum of 4 hours each day from11AM – 3PM including activities, meals and wellbeing sessions.
Children enjoy a mix of:
• Sports and outdoor play
• Creative arts and crafts
• STEM and enrichment activities
• Group games and team challenges
• Wellbeing and calm down time
• A healthy, nutritious meal
Yes. Every child receives a hot, healthy meal each day, plus fruit and water. Our menu follows the School Food Standards.
Absolutely. We follow strict allergen safe procedures and ask all parents to complete the allergy section on EEQU. Please speak to us directly if your child has complex needs.
• Comfortable clothing
• Sun hat / sunscreen (summer)
• Any medication they need (with forms completed) Please do not bring toys, valuables or personal devices.
HAF places are free but limited. If your child can no longer attend, please cancel your booking as soon as possible so another family can use the space.
No. This is a drop off programme. Children must be signed in and out by a parent or authorised adult.
The scheme is delivered by The Community Welfare Hub at CAC Surrey Docks, supported by trained staff with DBS checks, safeguarding training, first aid and food hygiene qualifications.
We can signpost families to local services including:
• Cost of living support
• Food banks and community meals
• Healthy Start and Rose Vouchers
• Parenting support
• Mental health and wellbeing services

We follow Southwark’s safeguarding policy, have a Designated Safeguarding Lead on site daily, and ensure all staff are DBS checked and trained.
